Outage Report January 10, 2011.

The result of routine maintenance caused unexpected heavy load on one of our storage units, forcing some customer VMs to pause from 19:02 to 19:16. WMS Console access was also affected.

We were on to the problem right away with the aim of restoring customer services ASAP.  Our customer service team responded to all help requests during the issue (no one was left in the dark).

Customer VMs which were paused during the outage all returned to normal operation by 17:16. We have added checks and measures that eliminate the chance of the same issue re-occurring.
